OBU RAP Industry Sectors for Period 39 & Period 40 2019/2020

All ACCA students ready to submit their OBU Research & Analysis Project (RAP) in period 39 and period 40 must go through the applicable industry sectors for November 2019 and May 2020 submission. Here we have made it quite simple for you to understand.

1. 4010 Automobiles & Parts - Industry Sector for Period 39 & 40 (3350 in the previous version)

This includes different vehicles and you must know which of them are applicable for the submission period 39 and period 40, November 2019 and May 2020.

4010020 Automobiles (3353 in older version)

Applicable automobile companies are as follows:

• Makers & producers of Passenger Cars
• Makers & producers of Motorcycles
• Includes Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs)
• Trucks

Non-applicable automobile companies are as follows:

• Makers & producers of Heavy Trucks
• Any vehicle categorised under Commercial Vehicles & Trucks
• Makers of Recreational Vehicles
• Recreational Product Manufacturers
• RVs & ATVs

40101025 Auto Parts (3355 in the previous version)

Applicable Auto Parts Manufacturers are as follows:

• Manufacturers and distributors of new and spare parts
• Auto parts for motorcycles, cars and different automobiles
• For example: Engines, Batteries and different parts

Non-Applicable Auto Parts Manufacturers are as follows:

• Manufacturers and distributors of tires
  (These are categorised under 40101015 Tires)

Applicable Producers & Manufacturers are as follows:

• Tire producers, manufacturers, distributors and re-treaders of motorcycles, cars and trucks

2. 4030 Media - Industry Sector for Period 39 & 40 (5500 in the previous version)

This includes broadcasting and entertainment, media agencies and publishing. In details, we have specified them below for the submission period 39 and period 40, November 2019 and May 2020.

40301010 & 40301035 Broadcasting & Entertainment (5553 in the previous version)

Applicable Producers & Broadcasters are as follows:

• Broadcasters and producers of Radio
• Broadcasters and producers of Television
• Broadcasters and producers of Films/Movies
• Broadcasters and producers of Music

Non-Application Producers & Broadcasters are as follows:

This includes transportation for commercial uses such as Trucking, Railroads, Rail Equipment, Marine Transportation, Delivery Services and different other Transportation Services which are applicable for OBU students submitting their RAP in period 39 and period 40, November 2019 and May 2020. We have elaborated them further for your appropriate understanding.
